Pat Allred Memories January 19, 2014

Hi Lyrah.  I am also your great aunt.  Your grandfather Larry was my baby brother.  He was so proud of your mother and of your Aunt Heather.  When Heather & KK were born, he thought they were the greatest things in the world!  I remember the first time I saw your mother.  Our mother's birthday, your great grandmother Opal, was on July 13--just a few days after KK was born.  Larry had decided that we should give her a surprise birthday party.  Mama knew that Larry was coming over--she did not know about the rest of us.  How surprised she was when all of us pulled up in her drive way at the same time.  Even KK--she was only 9 days old.
When Kim put her in my arms I could not believe how beautiful she was.  I was ready to take KK home with me.  What a wonderful day that was.  KK was always so sweet & full of life.  A really beautiful girl.  Your mother look so much like her daddy.
And you look so much like your mother.   KK will always be with us through you and I feel that a part of Larry is with us because of KK and you.  Your great grandmother Opal loved to have Heather & KK come to her house.  I know that she would love you too.  You will always be in my thoughts and prayers, a special part of our family.  May God bless you & keep you always.
Love, Aunt Pat.
Patty Anders A loving young mother January 19, 2014

The last time I saw Kaylynd or KK as we called her was at another sad time, my father in law, Perry's funeral. Lyrah was just a tiny newborn baby then but KK was doing her best to take care of her new baby and doing a great job even though she became a mother at such a young age. Lyrah was hungry and crying so I went outside with KK and talked with her while she nursed you (I had nursed all my babies so I was impressed she was doing the same) and I told her I was very proud that she was taking such good care of her precious new baby and being such an attentive mom. She was so beautiful both inside and out and loved her baby very much. She will be forever missed but also forever with you Lyrah.

Dear Lyrah, the greatest memory of your mom is from high school in youth group.
We were on the same team for a scavenger hunt and our team ended up getting lost in Greensboro.
When  Pastor Jim came out  and found us your mom ran from our car and left our chaperone straight to Pastor Jim's .The rest of us followed her and Pastor Jim asked "you don't want to stay with your chaperone?" And your mom answered "because you're our daddy." She always had a beautiful heart and from what I saw she looked up to Pastor Jim. She was tough but loveable. I will be praying for you dear Lyrah that you know how much she loves you.
love,
friend Tomi

Growing up as kids we were stuck together like glue. From chasing squirrels to pretending to drive the bunch bug that sat in your backyard there was never a dull moment between us. From gymnastics at tumblebees and riding our bikes around the neighborhood you were always right by myside. I cant think of my favorite memory i shared with you because everyday we spent together as best friends was the greatest time of my life. Please continue to chase squirrels in heaven and never forget our time spent together as friends.
